Dancers Days Out  -

DDO 17 March with Maurice Kachuk at Taunton Hall, Romford, Essex,

The Dancers Days Out are fun events organised all over the UK for adult tap dancers. They consist of two tap workshops, each lasting approximately 1½ hours, and we invite well known instructors and performers to teach the sessions. Sometimes they will include other forms of dance.

We generally suggest that you need to have been tapping a couple of years or at least have a grasp of the ‘basics’ for these workshops. The instructors are told to assume that attendees will be at this level but will often modify their routines accordingly once they get there.

The a day begins around 10.30am. Tea and coffee are provided prior to the commencement of the first Workshop, after which we take a lunch break (bring your own) and then the second Workshop takes place. We keep timings flexible to allow instructors to tailor sessions as they wish - to finish a routine, for example - but usually finish at about 3pm. People quite often stay and chat afterwards, though!

If you would like a DDO in your area, contact us.
